Statutory appeal window
The narrow six-month window to formally challenge a band after moving in or after certain triggering events.
You have a statutory right to challenge your band within six months of becoming the new taxpayer at a property, or after a new band is entered on the list. Outside that window you can still ask the VOA for an informal review, but they can decline without granting statutory appeal rights to the Valuation Tribunal.
