Single person discount
A 25% discount on your council tax bill if you're the only adult in the household.
If only one adult (18+) lives in a property, the council tax bill is reduced by 25%. Certain other people are 'disregarded' — full-time students, live-in carers, apprentices — so a home might qualify even with more than one adult present.
