Revaluation

A complete re-banding of every home. England has never had one; Wales did in 2003.

A revaluation is a bulk exercise where the VOA reassigns every home a band based on current values. Wales revalued in 2003, changing about a third of bands. England's last valuation was 1991 and no revaluation has ever been announced — meaning today's bands still reflect a 34-year-old snapshot of the property market.
