Valuation list
The official record of every home's council tax band, maintained by the VOA.
The valuation list is a public record showing the band of every home in England and Wales. It's searchable on GOV.UK. Changes to the list — new-build additions, band changes after appeals, splits and mergers — go through the local Listing Officer. When your band changes, the valuation list is amended and your billing authority updates your bill.
